Myrtle Beach area Traffic
Do you love
the Grand Strand and
the entire Myrtle Beach area, but you’re sick of the traffic?
We all are.
Are you worried about
Hurricane Evacuation
when the hurricanes come?
We all are very…
concerned.
The I-73 construction permit
for South Carolina
was issued in 2017 and people are driving on I73 in north carolina (our sister state).Interstate 73 In Sc will be a
non-stop
Hurricane Evacuation Route.US 501 and our other roads leading to the Myrtle Beach area can’t handle the amount of traffic we now have!
I73 will help us
move our people
and our products
out to I95
quickly
and efficiently. No local road will ever compare
to Interstate 73.I-73 will provide safe, direct, nonstop,
efficient travel to and
from Myrtle Beach. The Coastal Conservation League (CCL) and the SELC lost the battle against I73.
they now stand ready to fight against SELL and all NEW roads we must build for our people.
I have watched the Coastal conservation league
in action for many years.they reel you in and try to divert your attention from one project
to another so nothing is built. They encourage their members to stand up in
our local meetings.members of the CCl continue their fight against your safety.
they are trying to
delay real road progress
in the Myrtle Beach area
in any way they can. It’s time they take their prize and go home.
It’s time they concentrate on something other than our roads (i.e. offshore drilling off the myrtle beach area coast, which our region should not have, in my opinion.)
I-73 will relieve congestion on us 501 and HWY 544, SC9, SC 90, and other Grand Strand local roads.
I-73 will not have
traffic Light
AFTER traffic LIGHT.I-73 will be built to the
highest safety standards.
With Interstate 73 - we WILL have the ability to move our people from the Grand Strand out to I-95, quickly, safely, and efficiently, and the idea of
“just fix our current roads”
is old thinking — old thinking that helped get us exactly where we are.
We must build I-73 NOW (and yes we now need to build SELL too and good luck getting the permit for that with the CCL in action), and our most-highly-traveled roads MUST be maintained to the highest safety standards while I-73 is being constructed.
Our residents and visitors matter and it is time priorities are priorities!
It’s time we have the real ability to move our people safely and efficiently!
