did you see the damage Hurricanes helene and milton did just recently? did you watch in horror and cry for people who matter? those are real people who died. those are real people that couldn’t escape unimaginable tragedy, and they will be recovering for years to come. that’s the awful reality folks, and in horry county and the grand strand region we now also sit in a dangerous position, in my opinion, because of the incredible growth we’ve had for years and no new roads have been built to move our people away from the coast and away from danger.

it is not okay.

Make sure your home and/or business is ready for a hurricane because it’s better to be safe than sorry.

I-73, when finished, will be a non-stop roadway and a Hurricane Evacuation Route out to Interstate 95 from Myrtle Beach.

I-73 will relieve traffic on our local roads such as US 501.

Interstate 73 will be built to the highest safety standards — free of traffic lights.

I-73 in SC was permitted in 2017 and has already been through the environmental process which delayed, delayed, delayed, and cost our people precious time and money.

Our region grew and grew and it’s time the people on the Grand Strand matter too.

It is time for Congress in Washington DC, the South Carolina Legislature, and our local representatives to work together, and finally get the Interstate 73 construction going!

It’s time for everyone to step up to the plate and go to bat for THE PEOPLE

Our residents and visitors to the Myrtle Beach area matter too.

It’s time we get some of our money back and it’s time to get I73 fully funded and fast-tracked to completion for our growing region!

It’s time to get the road that matters built and that is I-73 in SC!
