I-73 - Dad Was Right Again…As Usual.

On August 28th, 2019 I told my dad “I-73 WILL NOT go down without a fight.”
I never realized what I was getting into that day, and my strong, kind, and wonderful dad told me “You better be ready because when you fight for something as big as I-73, a piece of the Interstate System, you may not like some of the things you see”. Dad was right again, as usual.

Little did I know that day, I was on my way to becoming a non-paid citizen advocate. My advocacy and my crazy journey for Interstate 73 in South Carolina began.

I was on my way to fight for our Non-stop Hurricane Evacuation Route, a road desperately needed to move our people quickly and efficiently from the Myrtle Beach area to I-95.

I was on my way for the Grand Strand , transportation progress in South Carolina and the USA, and much, much more, in the “Land That I Love”.
